Blush Pink A-Line Midi Dress

Now that it is time to reacquaint ourselves with this year's fall color trends, there are a few that I am pretty happy about including leopard print, rich brown tones, and blush pink. Perhaps it is because of Barbie tailwinds, which is fine by me and gave me the nudge I needed to pull the trigger on purchasing the dress I am sharing with you today. I first saw this structured a-line midi dress a few months ago, noticed that it comes in a bunch of colors and I absolutely love the flattering shape--so I flagged it to watch for a sale. Lo and behold, recently I saw that several colors went on sale and snapped up this lovely blush pink color that goes so nicely with my Chanel mini flap in light pink lambskin. I followed the size chart, ordered a small, and the size fits well with the belt on the smallest hole. Oh, and did I mention that this dress has pockets? Bonus points! The fabric is a thick cotton poly blend in a moire pattern, which I was not familiar with until I purchased this dress and definitely make it a great choice for Seattle's cooler weather. The unique characteristic of moire is its rippled or wavy appearance and this particular fabric has a lovely shine to it. I am looking forward to styling this dress for the office this fall, and today styled it with ankle strap sandals and several of my favorite accessories.
