Summer Style: Button-Up Shirt + Tailored Shorts

If you have been following me for a bit, you know that I am a big fan of neutral toned outfits any time of the year, but especially in the summer. We are currently experiencing a heat wave here in Seattle, with temperatures in the 80's over the weekend and a forecast of 90 degrees for Monday's World Cup game between Belgium and Egypt. There is so much good energy and excitement in the city for the World Cup and it makes me so happy to see the city turn up for these events. When the weather gets hot, my go-to essentials are lightweight pieces in cotton and linen fabrics, and today's outfit is a great example of what you will see me wear on a typical summer weekend in the city. This button-up shirt and pair of shorts are not new to my closet, but are still available and linked below. Several favorite accessories round out this weekend ensemble. Please continue reading to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for button-up shirts that I think would look fabulous and help you feel comfortable during the hot summer season ahead.

  6. If I'm not mistaken, these sandals have traveled a lot with you during your vacations abroad. And today, with the 2026 World Cup, a large part of the world is coming to Seattle, but also across your entire country. I really love this casual outfit, it looks so chic when you wear it. These lovely shoes also go perfectly with these shorts. And just one last thing: the polish on your toes remains, always and absolutely, very attractive. That is another one of your various signatures…
