A dear friend of mine, Sheila over at sheislovely, gave me this H&M slouchy knit beanie as a Christmas gift several years ago.  I think it adds a wonderful touch of coziness to this fall outfit!  The wool sweater + scarf + beanie was perfect to keep me warm last night for another close friend's casual birthday dinner.  Beanies aren't just for snowboarding or midnight grocery runs-there are many ways to style one for everyday wear.  Pair a slouchy knit knit beanie with coated jeans and heels as I have done here, or with a miniskirt and riding boots, or with a chambray shirt and cowboy boots.
