Most of the time, I love 3/4 sleeve sweaters because I just push up long sleeves anyway. I don't know why, it's just a habit. However, there are some days when I really wish I had the rest of those sleeves- like when I was out running errands this weekend. My quick and simple solution was to add a pair of arm warmers! They provide that extra warmth on chilly days, and from a distance it looks like my sweater has stylish colorblocked sleeves.
