The weather has warmed back up here in Seattle, with temperatures of nearly fifty degrees and our regular intermittent rain. This weather combined with all of the spring pieces hitting stores now makes me want to style spring outfits already. I picked up these new emerald green "Hampton" fit crop pants from Banana Republic on a recent 40% off day with an additional $10 reward, and decided to style them with my mint polka dot blouse, a light sweater, heels, and a statement necklace. Emerald is the 2013 pantone color of the year, and I just love these two shades of green together. =)
Mixing shades of emerald and mint creates a wonderful spring look. There are so many great styling options between blouses, sweaters, pants, and skirts. Check out my favorite new spring pieces to mix and match in emerald and mint:
Left: "Ultimate Double-Weave Editor Ankle Pant" in mardi gras, $69.50 at Express here
Middle: "Clover Trail Top (love this peplum shape!)," $44.99 at Modcloth here
Right: Halogen "Textured Pencil Skirt" in green dynasty (available in petite!), $69 at Nordstrom here
Left: "Spring in Any Season" jeans in mint, $52.99 at Modcloth here
Middle: Halogen "Sleeveless Shirt" in aqua wave (available in petite!), $69.50 at Nordstrom here
Right: Halogen "Three Quarter Sleeve Cardigan" in aqua wave colorblock (available in petite), $46 at Nordstrom here
Would you wear spring shades of emerald and mint? How would you style these colors together?
On another note, this is my 98th post, meaning just two more until I hit the bit 100th post! Wow! I want to host a giveway (not sponsored, just a thank you from me to my wonderful readers!) and I am curious what the best raffle app is for the Blogger platform? I see a lot of folks use Rafflecopter, but I'm not sure what is out there and really appreciate your feedback!
