Happy Tuesday to you! I apologize for my lack of posts last week - I spent three days in fabulous Las Vegas attending the Consumer Electronics show and catching up with friends in the industry that I haven't seen since I switched jobs last March. It was absolutely wonderful, and I am so thankful for my amazing friends that made the trip so much fun! I even had a chance to slide over to Fashion Show Mall on Friday afternoon to check out the January sales. Although I didn't find anything on sale that I wanted, I did pick up a leather-sleeved blazer at Zara that I absolutely love and can't wait to style here on the blog!
I kept a neutral color palette of khaki and black for today's outfit. I paired this Ark and Co colorblock blazer with a polka dot oxford shirt, black pencil skirt, and black heels. The khaki fabric of the blazer is a slightly stretchy knit for a perfect fit, and the black fabric on the bottom is a poly blend that matches nicely with a pencil skirt or black dress pants. A colorblock blazer adds a fun element of contrast to any outfit, and looks equally good with a pencil skirt as it does with dressy shorts in the summer or slim pants in the winter.
Check out my save and splurge colorblock blazer picks below:
