Transitional Style: Off-the-Shoulder Belted Top
Can you believe it is August already? It is the height of summer, and here in Seattle we celebrated our Seafair festival this weekend with the Blue Angels air show and hydroplane races on Lake Washington. It is such a fun time of year to be home (or to visit)! My go-to outfit for these warm summer weekends is an off-the-shoulder top and high-waist shorts. This off-the-shoulder belted top is a new addition to my closet. I had some reward dollars to spend, and it immediately caught my eye as a fabulous transitional piece because of its neutral color and sturdy cotton structure. In today's outfit, I paired this top with high-waist white denim shorts and these ultra comfortable Menorca sandals that I picked up on our recent Italy trip. When the weather gets cooler, I will happily style this top with 70's style flared jeans and wedge heels! Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for off-the-shoulder tops that I think would be great to style for the summer to fall transition.
