Spring Style: Paper-Bag Waist Pants + Pintucked Blouse

I hope everyone is doing well during this "stay-at-home" period! Many of us here in Seattle have been social distancing for 3+ weeks, getting in our groove and finding our new normal. Is it easy? Of course not, but for those of you just starting to stay at home you'll find your new normal too! Part of my new normal has been working from home, and following what I consider a "normal" routine that includes getting dressed in clothes that I would wear to work. It really helps to start my day on the right foot and get me in the right mindset. These paper-bag waist pants are probably the most comfortable pair of pants that I own--I have said before that they feel like wearing pajamas! You can see how I previously styled them here, here, and here. That comfort makes these pants a great option for these work from home days, and they are so easy to pair with tops like this crisp white pintucked blouse. Today's outfit is an example of an outfit I wore this last week while working from home, sans the heels and tote of course. Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for paper-bag waist pants and crisp white blouses that I think can create ideal spring outfit pairings!

  5. They are such fun pants and they look so good on you! I haven't started dressing up to work from home yet but some days I do get out of my pyjamas, haha! I think once I get into a routine and it's easier to work from home while looking after and teaching my kids I'll have more energy to get dressed properly each day!

Hope that you had a nice weekend at home :) Thank you so much for joining the #weekdayWearLinkUp :) I just posted this week's linkup, I'd love you to join again! :)
