Fall Style: Drape Front Jacket + Leopard Scarf

How is it October already and the last quarter of the calendar year? I don't know how the last seven months disappeared, but I blinked and here we are in full-on fall mode in the Pacific Northwest. I absolutely love fall, from the beautiful changing leaves to layering all the jackets, sweaters, scarves, and boots! Despite current circumstances and spending the majority of our time at home, I am on video conference calls for work throughout the weekdays and considered that a good enough reason to add some new fall pieces to my closet including my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchases and this faux leather sleeve drape front jacket. This jacket is the perfect fall layering piece, and one that can be dressed up or down with ease. In today's outfit, I styled this jacket with distressed jeans, heels, and added a pop of color with a leopard scarf. Any other year I would say that this is a "desk to happy hour" look, but for now it's a "trip to the grocery store or Costco" look and I am totally okay with that. Please read on for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for draped jackets and vest that I think would look fabulous layered this fall.

  4. First of all, that leopard scarf is to die for! Love that it's also colorblocked, it definitely pops! I also love those jeans, they are the perfect medium to dark wash with just a slash on each knee - what brand are the jeans and jacket? I need one of those waterfall jackets to re-create this fabulous look! =)
