Transitional Style: Drape Front Jacket + White Crop Pants

I decided that February will be a month where I try not to purchase new items of clothing, but instead style new outfits with pieces that I already have in my closet. I did fairly well in January, only purchasing one pair of colorful Nike Jordans that you can see in this post and one bright pink midi dress that you will see soon. The focus of my husband and my January spending was to finally upgrade our living room furniture with a new sectional, marble coffee table, accent chair, and rug (several years overdue), so for obvious reasons I need to be conservative with my spending this month. For today's look, I decided to restyle this versatile Drape Front Jacket with a simple long sleeve tee, a pair of white wide leg crop pants, classic pumps, and a roomy winged tote. One cannot go wrong with a black and white palette for winter or really any time of the year, and this ensemble is perfect for an office-to-happy-hour situation. Please continue reading to see more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for crop pants that I think could look fantastic styled together this season and beyond.

  9. These cropped pants look so good on you! I love that draped black jacket with them, black and white will always be a classic! Good luck with your no shop too! I've managed not to buy any fashion items in January and I'm interested to see how long I can keep it going - I did thrift a huge bag of clothes from the opshop in December that is giving me lots of wardrobe ideas and inspiration, so haven't really been thinking of buying, might be able to go a few more months, we will see!
