Travel Style: What I Packed and Wore in New York City
August was a very busy month that flew by for a variety of good reasons. First up was a milestone birthday celebration trip in Greece for a dear friend (my what I packed and wore in Greece post from earlier this week is here), then flights from Greece to Pittsburgh for the wedding of two wonderful friends, then we took advantage of being on the East Coast to fly to New York for five days to spend time with more friends who are family (around remote work, of course). It should not be a surprise that my NYC outfits are some of the same outfits I shared for Greece, since it was the same trip and luggage, but we did check an additional bag on our transatlantic flights with outfits for the wedding plus a couple of additional outfits that we stored at the Excess Baggage counter at Heathrow Airport for the duration of time we were in Greece. This was the best option for us, since we took Easyjet flights to and from Greece and the cost to store our bag for a week was less than it would have been to check it, not to mention the benefit of not having to lug the extra suitcase around. All that being said, I packed for this trip with Greece, Pittsburgh, and New York in mind and today am sharing several outfits I wore in New York to catch up with friends, enjoy delicious food, and enjoy summertime in the greatest city in the world. Please continue reading for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for travel-friendly outfits to inspire packing for your next trip.
