Summer Weekend Outfits
Happy Monday, everyone! I have shared my love of Seattle summers with you all, and this past weekend was a great example of how to spend a summer weekend in the city with friends. We watched the Seattle Sounders win on Friday night at Lumen Field (final score 2-0 against Minnesota United FC and a very exciting soccer game overall), attended an Olympics themed party on Saturday, and a rooftop BBQ on Sunday afternoon. We have been watching coverage of the Olympic games throughout the weekend and cheering on team USA, of course. I could not decide which outfit to share with you today, so I decided to share both the sporty "Team USA Tennis" look I wore to the Olympics themed party and the casual look I wore to the rooftop BBQ. Please continue reading to see photos and links for both outfits along with more of my picks to create your own similar looks for summer weekend events.

Thank you, Kathrine! Both gymnastics and swimming have been so exciting to watch this Olympics!
DeleteI love both outfits, especially the one with the black blouse! Yes, I'm keeping up with the Olympic Games, my country (Serbia) has 113 athletes representing it this year and I love that! <3

Thank you, Jelena! Amazing that Serbia has 113 athletes competing this year and I am sure they are all doing an amazing job representing at the Olympics!
DeleteThis is such a cute Olympics outfit! What fun to have a celebration party and cheer your country on. Honestly we haven't been watching because we are at our lake all summer and have had many rounds of company and beautiful weather. The TV rarely gets turned on as we spend most of our time visiting outdoors. But this week we've watched some horseback riding because my daughter is very much into it so we've made an effort to turn the TV on. Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Thank you so much, Bo, and the party was indeed a fun event! It made me want to step up my themed party planning in the future. =)
DeleteBoth outfits are really perfectly worn, but my preference goes for the second one. The Olympic Games are "at home", so I try to enjoy them as much as I can during my break and before returning to work. And if you can keep a secret, I must admit that I cheer Team USA too...

Thank you for your kind note, Dan! It has been fun to watch some of the Olympic events this week when we can!

ReplyDeleteJill - Doused in Pink
