Spring Trend: Butter Yellow

Last week I talked about the blush pink color trend in this post, and today I want to continue the theme by talking about another one of this spring's most popular color trends: butter yellow. I quite like the color yellow, but my fair complexion dictates that most shades do not look good on me. Enter butter yellow, a softer and flattering tone that is complimentary to many skin tones including mine. I actually purchased this butter yellow short sleeve polo sweater last September during the Labor Day sale timeframe, have not had a chance to wear it until now, and am very happy that it remains one of this spring's most popular color trends so that I could feature it in today's post. I styled this polo sweater with a cropped trench coat (also new to my closet and with a light yellow tone), a floral mini skirt, knee boots, and a bright clutch for a recent weekend outing.
