Spring Outfit Inspired by an AI Color Analysis

Have you tried using AI tools to determine your most flattering "season" color palette? A dear friend of mine suggested to me recently to try it and create a blog post with the results, so here we are! I used Perplexity, since I signed up for a free year of Perplexity Pro with my Paypal account not too long ago during a promotion. I asked Perplexity to analyze three photos of my face in natural lighting and this AI tool declared that I am a "Warm Spring / Light Spring with warm, light, fresh coloring." Perplexity told me that my best colors are "warm, clear, and lively rather than cool, dusty, or deep. In clothing, that usually means creamy neutrals, golden blues, soft corals, fresh greens, and warm reds. For makeup, the same principle applies: peach, coral, warm pink, and tomato-leaning reds usually look best." According to the analysis, my best neutrals are ivory, cream, oatmeal, camel, warm beige, sand, light taupe wtih warmth, soft khaki, and warm navy or softened denim blue. I was advised that stark black, optic white, or cool gray are best worn away from face or softened with a warm top layer. When it comes to colors, the best options for a Warm Spring/Light Spring are peach, apricot, coral, salmon, watermelon pink, butter yellow, golden yellow, apple green, warm teal turquoise, poppy red, and tomato red. The analysis also told me to follow similar logic with makeup. I thought this guidance was very helpful and honestly not that far off from what I gravitate toward today. I am already a big fan of warm neutrals, pinks, and navy/denim blue over black or grey. In today's outfit, I used the AI color analysis to create an office-friendly ensemble with a very on-trend butter yellow embroidered sweater, camel faux suede skirt, and a similar camel tone pair of pumps and bag. Please continue scrolling to see more photos and and links to either current pieces I am wearing or similar products fitting the color analysis theme.

I have read several threads stating that these AI color analyses are not always accurate, and trying the same photos with different tools can net you different results, but I thought it was a fun exercise and that the results are aligned to how I already dress today. You can scroll through below to see items I am wearing today as well as similar items currently available as I publish this post:

After this exercise, I am inspired to seek out more pieces in warm coral, greens, and reds and also revisit my makeup to align with the recommendations. Have you tried asking an AI tool to perform a color analysis for you? If so, please don't hesitate to leave me a comment below to let me know what you learned. Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope you have a fabulous week!
