Winter Style: Cozy Snow Day Layers

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you had a restful weekend and rang in 2022 with your nearest and dearest. If you are familiar with my hometown of Seattle, you know that snow is common in our nearby mountains (we love our skiing and snowboarding in the winter) but we are not used to lingering snow in the city. This last week we saw temperatures in the teens, ice, and light snowfall for almost a full week and that is indeed a rarity here. I know my friends in the Midwest and Northeast U.S. as well as my Canadian friends are laughing at me right now, but as I said we aren't used to those extremes here and it was a surprise! Today I am sharing a cozy layered look that I wore to leave the house this week, grab lunch, and a some groceries. Layers are the name of the game this season, and I don't think you can go wrong with quality wool pieces like my double face coat, Pendleton pom beanie and printed scarf. Please continue reading for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for warm wool layers that I think are essential for the remainder of winter and right into spring.

I collected more gorgeous wool and wool blend layers for you to check out in the widget below.
