 Slip dresses are the wardrobe hero I didn't know I needed until a few months ago, but now I am obsessed. You first saw me style this classy black slip dress earlier this summer in this post, and today I want to share two more ways to style this type of dress for the summer to fall transition. The first outfit is a dressy one that could be perfect for a cocktail wedding or date night, and the second is a more casual look that I think looks perfectly put together without trying too hard. This first look is a great option for a fall wedding or date night. I styled this classy black slip dress with my favorite patent heels, a quilted bag that can be worn as a crossbody or clutch, and a silk/cashmere blend plaid blanket scarf for the cooler evenings ahead. I can also see swapping the wrap for a longer wool or cashmere coat for a bit more warmth.
