Spring Style: Tan Blazer + Wide Leg Jeans

It's that time of year again: cherry blossom season! My favorite things about spring are longer days and the beautiful cherry blossoms, and the best place to see cherry blossoms locally is the University of Washington. UW's iconic Yoshino cherry trees are nearly 90 years old and thousands of people (including me) travel to campus every spring during peak bloom to spend time admiring them. I very much enjoy shooting spring outfits during peak bloom, and you can see several of my previous outfit shoots here, here, and here. Today I am sharing a casual spring look among these cherry blossoms with one of my go-to outfit pairings: a blazer and jeans. You have seen this blazer styled a couple of ways already here on the blog (here and here) and today I am styling it with two more chic spring trends: a satin button-up shirt and wide leg cropped jeans. A pair of leopard heels (I have not worn them in ages), my Pink Chanel mini flap bag, and several favorite jewelry pieces round out this look that could be ideal for days in the office, happy hours, and weekends alike. Please continue reading to see more photos, links to exact or similar outfit pieces, and more of my picks for blazers and jeans that I think would look amazing styled together this spring and beyond.
