Holiday Colorblock

December and the Christmas season are in full swing, and this week was the perfect time to put up the Christmas tree!  We decided on a white fake tree this year with gold ornaments and trimmings instead of the traditional green, but I can't take the credit for it.  My boyfriend has the eye for home design, and this combo was completely his idea.  It turned out so pretty that I will definitely be using it as my backdrop between now and Christmas.  =)

The theme of today's post is holiday colorblocking.  For this outfit, I paired my emerald crop pants from Banana Republic last winter (seen before on the blog here, here, and here) with this Colorblock V-Neck Pullover from this year's fall collection that happens to be the exact same shade of green.  I wore this emerald colorblock outfit to work, and felt so festive!  I think a colorblocked outfit in shades of green or red could also be perfect for a conservative office holiday party or Christmas dinner with relatives!
