Summer Style: Cutout Midi Dress
Last week was ridiculously hot here in Seattle, with most of the Western Washington area over 100 degrees F for a few days and a record-breaking 108 degrees F (42.2 degrees C) in the city last Monday. Those temperature ranges are highly unusual for us, even in the summer, and lightweight, comfortable outfits were key to staying cool. This cutout midi dress is a new addition to my closet, and it could not have arrived at a better time. The lightweight ribbed knit fabric is both stretchy and flattering at the same time, and I like that the knotted front top and cutout is shaped such that I can wear a regular bra. It may not seem like a big deal, but to me it is a huge win! In today's outfit, I styled this cutout midi dress with ankle strap sandals, my quilted Loulou bag, a versatile panama hat, and my favorite gold jewelry pieces. Please keep scrolling for more photos, outfit links, and more of my picks for cutout dresses that I think would look gorgeous styled for the warm summer temps ahead.
Since I think that a cutout dress is a great way to look chic and stay cool this summer, I searched and collected more beautiful options to share with you in the widget below. You can scroll through to see all of my picks, priced for a range of budgets and starting under $20:
What is your favorite way to style cutout pieces this summer? Please leave me a comment below to let me know. Thank you for visiting my blog today, and I hope you have a fabulous week ahead!
