Transitional Style: Plaid Blazer + Tailored Shorts

 One of my favorite transitional outfit stylings is a blazer with shorts, as I think it is a fabulous way to look pulled together and still comfortable when temperatures are in a pleasant range in between seasons. You have seen me style blazers and white denim shorts in this post from June 2021, and also with faux leather shorts in this post from June 2022. Today, I am sharing a new version of this go-to style combo with a light neutral plaid blazer (seen in this spring 2024 post and this fall 2023 post) that gets a lot of wear during the spring through fall months due to its lighter weight and shorter sleeves. I added a pair of white tailored shorts that are a recent addition to my closet and so flattering! They are available in multiple lengths and colors and are currently on sale--I may need to pick up another color. A neutral tone tank and several favorite accessories round out this up-leveled casual ensemble.
