After what felt like a lifetime of restrictions, I could not be happier that Washington state finally reopened on June 30th! There are many things to celebrate, but one that I am most excited about is the return of full scale wedding festivities. Summer is wedding season here in Seattle, because you have the best chance of sunshine and decent weather between late June and late September! Since summer is wedding season, it feels like a perfect time to share a few summer wedding guest outfit ideas in case you are attending any scheduled or rescheduled weddings over the next few months. In today's post, I am sharing three beautiful options for a variety of dress codes, although there are so many out there that I know it is difficult to choose. Please keep scrolling to see photos and outfit links for all three of my outfits, plus more of my picks for beautiful, similar wedding guest dress options that I think would look gorgeous styled for a variety of wedding guest dress codes this year and beyond.
Outfit #1

Pumps: same style matte leather here or similar patent style here Fascinator Hair Accessory: exact here Magnetic Lashes: exact here
This first outfit feels so perfect for a wedding with a cocktail or semi-formal dress code. My husband and I just attended the wedding of two dear friends two weekends ago, and it felt amazing to get dressed up and celebrate after so much has happened over the last year. I chose this
Monique Lhuillier Bubble Hem mini dress for their evening wedding, a piece that I purchased several months ago with this particular wedding in mind. I braided and rolled my hair up for a warm evening, and added this cute
feather and mesh fascinator for a bit of Great Gatsby-inspired glam. I finished the look with
patent pumps, silver jewelry, and my
YSL Loulou bag. I absolutely love this ensemble, and will definitely be on the lookout for another event to wear it again this summer or fall.

You may have seen me post about this dress on my Instagram stories last weekend--I was very excited to receive it earlier than expected. I preordered this dress the week before Memorial Day, the estimated delivery was mid-September, but I received it in less than six weeks. When I first saw this
Saylor dress earlier this spring, it immediately made me think of the movie "Crazy Rich Asians" and the Missoni dress that Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) wore to the party at her boyfriend Nick Young's (Henry Goulding) grandmother's house. I absolutely love the light rainbow stripes and sequins, knew I had to have it, and think this dress would be an amazing choice for a beach or garden wedding. I styled this dress with
stacked heel ankle strap sandals, perfect for a wedding that takes place on grass or sand (no one wants to sink in a skinny heel!), a ruched clutch, and a few favorite jewelry pieces. Someone please invite me to a beach or garden wedding so that I can wear this outfit!
Outfit #3
Clutch: exact here (check for restock) or similar here Magnetic Lashes: exact here
This third outfit you have seen before, earlier this spring
here on the blog, but I honestly believe it deserves more attention and a spot here as a beautiful summer wedding guest option. This bright, cheerful look would be ideal for daytime or casual wedding, or a beach/garden wedding with
these stacked heel sandals so you don't risk sinking into grass or sand. While my exact dress is sold out now, I believe that a bright floral/tropical printed dress just screams summer and makes a gorgeous statement. In this outfit, I belted my dress to better define my waist, and accessorized with a ruched clutch and gold jewelry.
There are so many beautiful outfit options out there for this summer and fall's upcoming weddings, and it is nearly impossible to choose a favorite dress style! Today, I stuck with the three styles featured in this post and chose a selection of bubble hem, sequin, and bold floral dresses to share with you. My picks are priced for a range of budgets, with multiple options under $100, so please be sure to scroll through the widget below to see them all:

Thank you, Mica! I love the bright stripes of the second dress too!
DeleteOMG, how do you even begin to choose! You just have to find occasions to wear all three as much as possible as they are all lovely and unique in their own way. Classic #1 dress was perfectly accented by that fascinator. I've always wanted an opportunity to wear one but it hasn't happened YET! I am so thankful that things are opening up and we have the chance to dress up and celebrate the people we love once more. Have a great week ahead!
